About Two Teachers
Charity Miller holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Auburn University, an M.A. in Teaching from LaGrange College, and an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from Valdosta State University. She has 8 years of industry experience as a chemical engineer with IMERYS, Corning, and Atherotech, where she developed several products that earned patents, as well as 17 years of experience as a secondary mathematics teacher within the Troup County (Ga.) School System. A national STEM certified educator with gifted endorsement, Charity has taught Math 8, Algebra I, geometry, Algebra II, pre-calculus, and advanced mathematical decision making. Charity was named the 2019-2020 THINC. College & Career Academy Teacher of the Year. She served as graduation coach at Gardner Newman Middle School in 2019-20 and is presently the TCSS data support specialist.

Laura Lee Pike holds a B.S. and M.Ed. in Secondary English Language Arts from Auburn University and an Ed.S. in Secondary Curriculum and Instruction from Columbus State University. Accumulating 36 years of experience as a high school English teacher, she taught 25 years and served as English department chair at Benjamin Russell High School within the Alexander City (Ala.) School System where she chartered the prestigious Men & Women of BRHS. She also created and implemented the school's first ACT prep course. Beginning her Georgia career in 2012 at LaGrange High School then transferring to THINC. College & Career Academy where she was a member of the Strategic Planning Committee, Laura Lee is in her eleventh year as an English instructor within the Troup County (Ga.) School System. College Board certified with gifted endorsement, she has taught honors grammar, world literature, speech, American literature, British literature, advanced composition, AP English Language, and AP English Literature. Laura Lee was named the 2016-2017 THINC. College & Career Academy Teacher of the Year and the 2016-2017 Troup County School System High School Teacher of the Year. Laura Lee now serves as an English interventionist at the Troup County Career Center where she was named the 2023-2024 TC3 Teacher of the Year. She has most recently been named the 2023-2024 TCSS High School Teacher of the Year.

Outside of Troup County, we present
our ACT Boot Camp the week prior to administrations of the ACT. Lasting three
and a half hours, our boot camp includes a materials portfolio, content instruction,
test-taking tips, time-management
strategies, a full take-home practice
and a test-day pack. Sponsoring
organization will provide drinks and snacks.

We offer our ACT test prep course that consists of 5 four-hour classes (20 hours) of content instruction, test-taking tips and application, time-management strategies, a full practice, and test-day pack. All materials, drinks, and snacks are included. Announcement of these courses are well in advance. Students who register and pay by early registration date receive $50 discount

A stream-lined version of our class ACT prep course, class ACT TURBO consists of three sessions (10 hours) of content instruction,
